I'm Palmer Haasch, a culture writer and critic based in New York City.
My work has been published at Business Insider, Polygon, Thrillist, The Verge, IGN, and GLAAD. I'm currently an entertainment reporter at Business Insider. Right now, I primarily cover television for BI, though I also write about film and celebrities. I have extensive experience covering internet culture and technology (particularly TikTok), and also cover Korean entertainment and anime. Previously, I conducted original research into the significance of real person fanfiction in fandom.
